Due to company growth we have an excellent brand new permanent full cycle recruitment opportunity hiring for a top brand in the Kitchener/Cambridge/Waterloo area. We are seeking a 2-4 year Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be a true Talent Advisor to the business and will be hiring for a variety of roles for our Flagship client in the automotive industry. Roles you will be hiring for will vary and will include - Corporate Admin (HR, Finance), Engineering, Quality Assurance and when needed will include working with the Operations Manager to support plant recruitment to keep the plant staffed as a critical function of their business. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in various recruitment related projects. You will work with a fantastic team of 5 Talent Acquisition professionals and will have support of an excellent Coordinator. Great culture including lots of mentorship by your manager and a team who supports each other and pitches in as needed to help each other out. You will have the flexibility to work from home some days when you are sourcing candidates however most days will be in the office where you will partner with Leaders, sit in on interviews and guide management through a professional and effective recruitment process. You will be working on-site in both Cambridge and Woodstock. Strong stakeholder management - working directly with hiring managers to understand their needs and company/team fit Sitting in on interviews with hiring managers and guiding them through a professional recruitment process. You will be using effective probing techniques to dig deep to understand candidate skills and technical abilities to ensure the right long term match for the role and company. Will be a true advisor to management and will provide hiring recommendations which will be taken with a great deal of weight. Handling all aspects of developing recruitment strategies, mapping out the market, selling the opportunities to candidates, and completing detailed interviews with thoroughness and excellence Developing solutions to address recruitment challenges and provide recruitment guidance to Talent Acquisition team. Seeking full leverage of systems that are available to you You Will Have Must have 2-4 years full cycle recruitment experience which includes experience hiring for niche roles where in depth interviews were needed to probe specific skills and competencies. Experience sitting in on interviews with hiring managers and providing insights, coaching and hiring recommendations. Strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business as needed Strong sense of urgency, strong responsiveness and the ability to handle working in a fast paced environment Post-secondary education and working towards your CHRP or CHRL designation will be both an advantage and benefit Exceptional commitment to the customer with demonstrated ability to provide an overall exceptional client and candidate experience Sound communication, influencing, innovation, project management and collaboration skills.
