Carroll Cadillac is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee our administrative operations and support our dealership’s success. This role is perfect for someone with strong accounting, organizational, and leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Requirements
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Supervise office staff and provide training and guidance as needed.
- Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for dealership leadership.
- Perform controller-level functions such as:
- Maintaining general ledger accuracy
- Reconciling factory accounts
- Reviewing internal controls
- Managing schedules and reserve accounts
- Overseeing banking relationships and cash flow
- Ensuring timely closings (month-end and year-end)
- Prepare, finalize, and submit monthly and annual financial statements to General Motors (GM) and ensure compliance with manufacturer reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, corporate office, and external vendors on accounting and compliance matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and state/federal regulations.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding paperwork, personnel files, and benefits coordination.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, auditors, and manufacturer representatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (required).
- Prior experience as an Office Manager or Accounting Manager (automotive dealership experience a must).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and dealership operations (DealerTrack or similar systems a plus).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Pay: Based on experience.
